President & CEO
John P. Sheehan

John began his career in 1990 in the Champion Exposition Service,
helping medical device and pharmaceutical manufacturers market
to physicians through the conference & exhibition channel. As Partner
and Sr. VP, he helped grow sales from $8.5m to over $100m, resulting
in a sale to Wachovia Private Equity. John next re-located to London
to build the international division of MC Communications, a leading
U.S. provider of CME conferences, exhibitions and distance learning products to physicians. As CEO, he built the UK, German and Ireland businesses and negotiated license agreements or JV partnerships
in the Japanese, Mexican / South American and Spanish markets.
In 2004, as a member of the six person senior management team,
John participated in the sale of MC Communications to Bain Capital.

In 2007 as investor and CEO, John built HealthHonors Corporation, a leading provider of consumer reinforcement strategies to increase
patient compliance to prescribed medicine therapy. In October of 2009,
he negotiated the sale of HealthHonors to Healthways, a leading provider of health and wellness solutions to Employers and Health Plans in the
U.S. and abroad.

Founder & Chief Science Officer
Murat V. Kalayoglu, M.D., Ph.D., M.B.A.


Dr. Kalayoglu and co-founder Dr. Michael Singer created HealthHonors Corporation in January, 2006 out of a vision to motivate people to adopt healthier behaviors through the smarter use of incentives. They transformed their vision into reality by developing Dynamic Intermittent Reinforcement™ (DIR), HealthHonors’ Decision Software that creates optimized reinforcement schedules.

As a founder and the Chief Science Officer of HealthHonors, Dr. Kalayoglu oversees the Company's scientific and clinical programs for health behavior change. Prior to the Company's acquisition, he served as Chief Operating Officer at HealthHonors. Previous to that, he was Vice President, Medical Director at Best Doctors, Inc., a leading provider of global health benefits that help people get the right medical care. Dr. Kalayoglu’s research on chronic diseases and medication adherence includes over 30 peer-reviewed publications, including a Special Communication article on cardiovascular disease in JAMA. He was also the Principal Investigator of a grant from the NIH to study HealthHonors’ interventions on adherence and health outcomes.

Dr. Kalayoglu is a practicing, board-certified Ophthalmologist. He completed the NIH MD/PhD program at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, his Residency and Fellowship at Harvard, and an MBA with a focus on high-tech entrepreneurship at the MIT Sloan School of Management. He has won numerous entrepreneurship awards and speaks frequently on behavioral and technological approaches to health behavior change.

VP Sales & Marketing
Sean Teare


Sean Teare is responsible for all sales and marketing activities at HealthHonors.  Sean brings over 15 years of experience in sales,
business development, and marketing. Most recently, Sean was President and Co-Founder of Aprexis Health Solutions, a provider of patient support services. 

Prior to that, he served in sales and marketing roles of increasing responsibility, including 5 years at TAP Pharmaceuticals. In Sean’s role at TAP, he saw firsthand how a well designed patient support program could drive significant improvements in patient adherence and increase sales.

VP Software Engineering
John Caccavaro


John has extensive experience in the software industry. His career began
in 1980 with Varo Design Group where he wrote the first-ever commercially available accounting package for the Apple Macintosh.

Caccavaro co-founded a company that brought the electronic medical record into the market. “Medical Master, the Doctor’s Workstation” paved the way for today’s digitally-minded medical community.

Mr. Caccavaro received a B.S. degree in Architectural Engineering Technology from Wentworth Institute of Technology and is an M.B.A. candidate at Babson College’s F.W Olin Graduate School of Business.

VP Client Services
Claudia Ortali


Claudia Ortali is responsible for overseeing all client engagement
activities including product management. Prior to joining HealthHonors, Ortali served as Program Director, Customer Loyalty at IBM where she focused on assisting customers with the adoption of IBM technology and driving value across the enterprise. 

In addition, Ortali held various management and client facing roles with focus on exceptional execution. This has helped her navigate change
and build a results oriented reputation. Bringing over 20 years of experience in technology and customer service, Ortali led multi-disciplinary teams to implement state of the art solutions for customers. Ortali, served as "voice of the customer" to drive both the customer experience and customer success as a key component to decision making and corporate culture.
